The 10 points listed below cover the main areas that are checked by fully qualified CORGI registered Engineers during an annual service:

The 10 point Annual Service:
1. Flue ways and terminals
2. Ventilation provision
3. Gas pressure and heat input
4. All safety devices
5. The following boiler components:

Heat exchangers
Burners
Combustion fan
Seals (gas and water)
Ignition system

6. Performance test (on all boilers with a suitable test point or accessible flue terminal)
7. All visible pipe work and controls
8. All radiators
9. Expansion tank (and vessel) and associated components
10. Advice on the use of your present controls more efficiently.
